Commision: Looking Back

32 didn't remember much when she had first awakened. All she knew was that she had awakened in some kind of basement. She was unsure about where she was, or even who she was. Overtime though, things started to come back to her.

She was once Andreana Smith. She had an abusive, drunk father and a neglecting mother. The only person she had ever been close to had been one of her older brothers. But one day, he had been sent to fight in the war. She believed that he had abandoned her when he didn't say goodbye. Tired of her father's abuse, she ran away when she was 13 and never looked back. Then a few years later, she had been taken to the basement where "she" awakened into the world.

All her life, she had been filled with pain. Born into a family that didn't truly want her, abused day and night, abandoned by the only one to ever give her solace.

But now she had a chance to live a new life. She had a chance to keep other children from going through the same fate that she had. She had a new life, and she was going to make good use of it.
